  CALL FOR PRESENTING COMPANIES
  
  MassMEDIC will host its 10th annual Medtech Investors Conference on Friday, November 14, 2008 at the Conference Center on the campus of the University of Massachusetts Boston. The day-long program will feature presentations by up to 25 regionally-based medical device companies, as well as a breakfast panel discussion and a luncheon keynote address. MassMEDIC?s MedTech Investors Conference has become a seminal event for the industry, drawing more than 400 attendees from the sector?s financing, consulting and manufacturing sectors. More than 230 innovative technology ideas have been presented at the Conference, with many finding funding or acquisition opportunities at the event. For the conference, MassMEDIC seeks nominations of emerging and established medical device companies to make a uniformly formatted 10-minute presentation before an audience of potential investors, industry representatives and experts. Of particular interest to investors and potential partners are companies in the earliest stage of development. MassMEDIC is very interested in providing time slots for presentations by these ?pre-venture? companies at this conference. MassMEDIC?s MedTech Investors Conference will also include selected presentations by established public and private medical device companies from the New England region. Representatives from these companies are encouraged to forward nominations and participate in this conference. Submissions must be completed by Monday, July 7 to be eligible for consideration. Members of MassMEDIC?s Financing Task Force will review the nominations and select the companies who will present at the November conference.
